after
9
years.
It
is
the
oldest
ship
of
the
shipping
company.
With
AIDAcara,
which
in
the
beginning
was
simply
called
AIDA,
a
new
cruise concept was created. Since then, every ship of the company wears the distinctive eyes and red lips.
This ship was docked in Antwerp on 6 February 2020.

for
the
last
time
this
year.
Due
to
the
corona
virus,
the
cruise
line
decided
to
sell
MS
Black
Watch
and
MS
Boudicca
and
replace
them
with
MS
Amsterdam
and
MS
Rotterdam,
which
were
bought
from
Holland
America
Line.
Since
December 1998 the ship has been seen 13 times in Antwerp.
This ship was docked in Antwerp on 17 & 18 February 2020.
COVID-19 - Corona virus
Multiple Cancellations
Due
to
the
COVID-19
coronavirus
outbreak,
the
entire
cruise
industry
came
to
a
standstill
mid-March.
Because
there
were
outbreaks
on
several
ships,
it
was
not
recommended
to
go
on
a
cruise.
A
large
part
of
the
world's
ports
also
refused
to
receive
cruise
ships.
Around
July,
the
first
cruise
ships
started
sailing
again
with
very
strict
measures, but most of the cruises that had been planned in advance to Antwerp were already cancelled.
